4. Synthesize your ideas and decide what you want to focus on in your paper. Write an introduction that summarizes this. Formulate a thesis statement that provides a summary of what will be explored in the paper.

5. Using your text and scholarly inquiry as a guide, write about the DNP prepared nurse’s role in theory. Consider how the AACN standards you researched support this role and discuss this. Also discuss how you might collaborate with others either within your discipline or outside of nursing to facilitate positive outcomes in this regard.
