In this assignment, you will complete the lesson plan that you began in Topic 1. Identify academic language from your informational text selection, including key vocabulary, functions, and form, and fill out the “Academic Language” sections on the COE Lesson Plan Template.
Next, choose three instructional strategies for teaching the informational text that you believe will meet the needs of the students described in the Class Profile. Consider how these strategies will complement one another in order to provide relevance, rigor, and cultural sensitivity to all students.
Create a separate “Learning and Teaching Activities” section of the COE Lesson Plan Template (100-250 words) for each instructional strategy, including 10 DOK (depth of knowledge) questions based on the informational text you’ve chosen. Each “I Do” entry should be followed by a “Students Do” entry and a “Differentiation” entry. In the “Learning and Teaching Activities” section of the COE Lesson Plan template, include one instructional strategy. On a separate sheet of paper, list the other two instructional strategies.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
You are required to submit this assignment to Turnitin.
